Pool Management

Access Requirements​

At the current stage, there are mainly two ways to participate in market making permissionlessly.

  1. As a pool owner - open to all, but recommended for those who have the basic market making capabilities and sufficient funds.

  2. As a pool participant - open to all, but recommended for those new or junior to the market making field, done by providing funds into any Market Maker Pool of their preference. Through the market making process, the profit and reward of their chosen pool can be claimed. This is similar to when you buy a fund and gain return in the real world.


Managements​

Since the market dynamics are always changing, Jungle Exchange offers every pool owner the flexibility to manage pool positions, basic attributes and strategy parameters.


Quit Flow​

Deposit withdrawal from MM pools can be done regarding to the two cases:

  1. there are no other open positions in the pool, you will get your funds immediately with no closing cost.

  2. there are other open positions in the pool, Jungle Exchange will close your corresponding portion before sending the funds to your wallet. Therefore, during the closing process, you need to pay for the close position fee which is covered in the closing cost. If positions can't be closed under the low liquidity market condition, fund withdrawal may be subject to delay until the market recovers.
